WHAT IS THE BREWERY ART WALK?

The Brewery ArtWalk is a twice annual open studio weekend at the worlds largest art complex. With over 100 participating resident artists, you will have the opportunity to see new works, discover new favorites, speak with the artists and purchase artwork directly from the artists at studio prices.

The ArtWalk takes place October 24th and 25th, 11:00 am - 6:00 pm

Admission is free and so is parking.

WHAT IS THE BREWERY ART COLONY?

The Brewery Art Colony consists of three hundred twenty artist lofts converted from the former Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery. Zoned for live/work, the lofts house hundreds of artists working in dozens of media - from painting, sculpture and photography to industrial design, architecture and experimental new media. The Art Walk offers visitors a unique chance to walk door to door to visit artists in their work spaces.

The Brewery is a 22-building complex on 23 acres and comprises a variety of structures,some dating back to 1888. Food and drinks are available on site, so make a day of it!!!

Inspiration for the loft...

The Move

I moved from the beach Sunday, into an art loft at the brewery - downtown Los Angeles. So much to do! I have a business trip to Vancouver Wed-Fri...so the fun has to wait until this weekend.

I look forward to the design and decorating I can do with this HUGE space. (That is a 48" flat screen tv to give you scale...sorry about quality of photo - was taken with iphone because I have no idea where my camera is right now)
