Come see us at the 24th annual Abbot Kinney Festival. Renowned for eclectic shopping and world class restaurants, Abbot Kinney Blvd will be closed to traffic from Main St. to Venice Blvd to accommodate 3 stages of live music, dancers and performance artists, a spectacular Family Courtyard, Traditional festival and ethnic foods, Beer Garden, Green Living Area and over 300 vendors featuring original, handcrafted goods.
This year, AKDA is proud to announce that ABBOT KINNEY GOES GREEN! With the goal to be a zero waste event, we are encouraging recycling, providing carbon offsets and not allowing our vendors to use plastic bags or Styrofoam. In the "Green Living Area" there are environmentally conscious vendors and non-profits, interactive events, workshops and innovative ideas on Green living. We ask everyone to please bike to the event (there will be a bike valet), or take public transportation. If you plan to drive, remember parking is very limited. For those who plan to shop, we have cloth tote bags for sale - and if you have your own, then bring those too!
My guilty pleasure is Project Runway.

My first time selling the clips at a festival. It was a HUGE SUCCESS! You never know if your customer will be at these things and I can tell you - mine was there! The booth swarmed with women (and a few men) all day long!
The morning started with the little girls. Wowsie Wow, these little girls knew what they liked and let their mother's know it! I sold all of my daisies, cosmos and cherry blossoms within the first 3 hours. If anyone has a store that specializes in things for little girls, email me! We need to talk.
Mom worked hard to find any small clips leftover after the morning ambush for this little one.
My neighbor Jen came by and bought the double white rose. She already has like 5 of my clips, but insisted one more was needed.
Our friend James tried to hold up the tent towards the end of the day. I borrowed an EZ up and either we did not put it up correctly, or it was broken. Either way I am investing in a brand new tent next time.

These two were so funny.

This is a collection of pretty things I love and use as inspiration for my own creativity as a designer.
